Sure sounds like it would be a fascinating piece of history to exhibit! Any idea when the exhibit will reopen again??

We moved to Brookfield Ct 2 yrs ago and were thrilled to discover a stone wall in our front yard. Our neighbor said there were walls in our back yard also. When we discovered we owned the property down to the "Old Ct Highway" intrigued, I just cleared a path down there (120 yards!)this week. Now I have to find out its origin. It is a parallel, two sided stone highway with weathered stones and trees that have to be close to 200 yrs old growing in its roadway. I am trying to find old Brookfield maps. Are you familiar with this area or could you give us any information? It is fascinating!!

I am interested in a 7 day tour of Civil war sites for my students. I teach a Military history class for 10-12 graders outside Philadelphia. we typically do a field trip to Gettysburg but I was thinking of an extended trip during spring break. Please send me information so I can call and possibly set something up.

Hi
Interesting article.
I am doing some research on a 19th century folk song writer "J.T."
Possibly from Tennessee or Texas somewhere around 1830s or 40s.
If you have any info at all about this "J.T." please let me know. Thanx so much.

Michael,
Thanks for promoting this program. It was good to meet you last evening in Stratford. Your website looks great. Just a side note, I've recently put up a performance of Henry Clay Work's song "The Girls at Home" on YouTube. You can see the video by going to www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDNrT3qJwh4

I hope our paths cross again.
yours,
rick
